The infamous C.S. (that would be Christmas Spirit) hit me last weekend after returning home from Thanksgiving in NY. So I put the tree up. It's been a few years since I last put up the tree, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover some of my favorite ornaments all over again. I also threw on my creative cap and made some of my own this year, seeing as how I felt the tree was lacking in the cool department (what with all the gifted ornaments on the tree that weren't quite my style).
Please forgive the awful photography. My digital camera and I are not friends.

Looks slightly crooked. Whose dog is that?
Very nice tree! And dog!
And I really dig the homemade ornaments, particularly the ray gun/water pistol one.
Oh, by the way, I think your tree's crooked.
@ Krista- The dog belongs to our former housemate. We are dog sitting for the week.
@ DP- Thanks! The water pistol is my favorite. Just an FYI, the only two I didn't convert into ornaments were the owl and the Santa. (I think it's crooked too, but only at the angle so as long as I don't look at it while coming downstairs, it won't bug me right?)
Love the water gun~ What a cute idea!
I love that little owl!
It might be crooked, but it looks good!
It looks great.
i love the owl ornament.
The tree is gorgeous, and it didn't strike me as crooked at all when I first saw it. If it makes you feel better, maybe your wall is crooked. Or the floor. Maybe that's worse...never mind. ;-)
