Wood grain, or faux bois, seems to be all the rage right now, which kind of, sort of, makes me shudder. Having grown up in a house (on top of a mountain. in the middle of the woods) that was built and decorated in the early '80s, I know how dark, frightening and cave-like wood grain can be.
